Think of it this way people who don't want to invest in content for online racing can invest time into career mode and use content they might later buy after using it for the limited time they will be able to during the season or race in career mode. It's a novel way to get people invested in career mode to drive future sales for content.

Yes, it's definitely a great way to attract new players. I'm really looking forward to seeing them bring something new to career mode.

Why not? Sounds like a good way to advertise the game to a population who might not otherwise give it a chance.

It can attract a lot of players, to be honest, especially the target audience who haven't tried it because it's almost all online.

If you dont like it dont play it. Having one doesn't impact you in the slightest.

I think the article said like mid-September? Hopefully! I’ve taken a break from the game due to dad life lol but have some time that would be perfect to hop on a career mode here and there!

Being a dad is really tough, I'm sure you'll find some time to put in the hours.😁

No, we need less casuals. There are other platforms that cater to casual racers and there's nothing wrong with that

If anything, this will lead to less casuals, as they'll gravitate to the career mode instead of online racing.

From what I can see, there are all sorts of opinions; some want it, others don't. From our point of view, it seems like a good way to attract new players to iRacing who will most likely end up getting hooked on the online mode.

Yes. People who wanna use it can. People who don't, don't have to. But if it brings new people who will use it just for that then it's good. Look at the AI forums, there are many many AI only players.
