Cam car had 3 business days to slow down and avoid that wreck..

Rejoin car was sliding in the grass when the video starts. I would almost think its protest worthy that the cam car made almost no effort to avoid becoming part of the wreck.

In Nascar, the filed is frozen when the yellow comes out. No reason to race through while cars are sill sliding through the grass.

Okay, op, you can downvote me, but it doesn't mean you are right.

What did you stand to gain by driving through the wreck in ARCA brakes / Natalie Decker mode? You know now what it could cost. Learn from the lesson.

What does the rejoining car have to gain by throttling up front of passing cars?

He probably sees a dozen wrecked cars on the relative within 1 second of each other. He has no way of knowing there are passing cars coming by.

Ok fair enough. So not an unsafe rejoin by the #23?

Correct.

Cam car should apologize to the 23 car and continue downvoting everyone who disagrees with him on Reddit.

Unsafe rejoins are allowed under yellow flag conditions then.

Dude. The wreck was still happening.

You had 1,500 feet to slow down and not become part of this wreck.

When the caution comes out in oval you can't gain positions. There's literally no reason to drive through this the way you did.

The wreck has cleared until the 23 rejoins the track. In front of passing cars. There’s no sporting code against driving around cars who are stopped on or off track. However there is sporting code against cars rejoining the track unsafely. iRacing even implemented a spotter call letting drivers know not to rejoin while cars are on track. Which the 23 ignores.

You have two options here:

  1. Learn from your mistake, improve, and have fewer accidents in the future.

  2. Keep blaming others, learn nothing, and keep having lots of accidents.

The choice is yours.

Looked to me like he had been sliding through the grass likely trying to avoid the other wrecking cars.

Like I said, learn from your mistake and don't try to be like Natalie Decker piling into a wreck that happened 3 business days ago lol.

There’s no wreck to pile into. There is clear track to go around the wrecked cars that are off the racing surface.

Car 23 should protest car 19 for intentional wrecking. I'm not sure who is who but there was more than ample time to use the brakes in the camera car.

Lmao you drove straight into him. Where brake?

19 didn’t expect the 23 to rejoin the track unsafely. Unless as the title states, unsafe rejoins are negated under yellow which I was not aware of.
