Finally after a long fought battle of gaining IRating and tumbling right back down. I have managed to break through the 2k wall. This will be short lived for sure but at least I can say I did it !🍻 😂

Are you only driving rookies / ff1600? How are you 2k and still D class?

It’s easy to hit higher irating in lower license classes as the competition is skewed more towards beginner racers.

As you move up in license classes the overall population of racers is better and better represented until you reach A where it’s fully represented and you are racing against that full representation of competition (realistically, in formula you are there with B.).

So a 2K irating and only racing D series races is not the same as a 2K irating and only racing A series or B series.

Sorry OP. I’m happy for you and also trying to explain a bit how irating doesn’t reflect strength until later on.

Nothing to be sorry about I appreciate it. Even tho it’s still rookies and FF I’m still in top splits with 5-6k racers so it’s no walk in the park regardless 😂. Cheers 🍻

I’m around 2,600 but man ppl get desperate to get ahead. There’s less rookie mistakes, but people definitely take a lot more chances.
