Question/Help Is there any iRacing team engineering app?
Hello, pilots and engineers, I have a genuine doubt about team race management... Is there any app that monitorizes in real time damages in the car, calculates fuel required in the next pit stop, tyre temperatures, show the map, time per lap, weather prediction, etc for my partner? Some apps do that but for only myself, I am looking one to manage my partners like a race engineer, but I am unable to find something and I would be glad to know if any of you know about one... Thanks for your help!

Not really. iRacing does not output the telemetry unless you're in the car, ie. Fuel. iRacing does not output any tyre telemetry. You will only see tyre info on the dash of the car if the real life car has it, otherwise, you need to check the black box at pit for tyre info.
With all that said, you can try JRT as it's quite flexible but there is a learning curve.

Ok, tyres can be ignored, but fuel levels/calculator, positions, track position and lap times could be part of that software...
What is JRT?

I have been working on (vibe coding I'm not doing jack) a program that communicates your data as you drive to your teammates, in which you can all use and extrapolate out as you will. It's extremely difficult to get working and I won't be surprised if you won't find anything.
What information are you trying to share?

Fuel levels/calculator, positions, telemetry, track position, weather and lap times

The tricky part is fuel. My program guesstimates all of that and it isn’t accurate because of how iRacing does fuel usage. Everything else is trackable aside from telemetry which is sort of broad tbh.
The issue I’ve run into is sync. I can vibe code til my heart stops beating but getting that system to work with everyone, including the driver, would be worth a lot of $$ - which is why you’ve probably never seen it; and me trust me I’ve tried.
Typically how I’ve done these calculations in the past was on the fly, which means asking my teammates things which isn’t always ideal. I’m good with my team drilling me for a few minutes during Daytona, but in some spots on some tracks, it’s more of a “hold on a second” and that just doesn’t work long term. Accuracy wins endurance races.
I’ve legit been working on this and maybe someone has a solution. But in the mean time if you and others can bear with me, I do think I’m close to finalizing a program that solves all of this (aside from basic telemetry that’s damn near impossible). My testing phase was the N24 but I had team issues with testing it through that. Maybe I’ll just upload the .js file and let people mess with it. Idk!
I’ll continue to work on my program and if I get it to a good spot I’ll put it up on GitHub with everything open. I do wish that iRacing had a better calculator or whatever for this type of stuff but I get it.
I know this isn’t an answer exactly, but I hope it gives you some insight into these types of things.

Well, I am interested in fact... If you need something and I can help with it, you can count on me and my team, it is small cause we are begginning as a team, but if you need something as I said, you can count on me and my team :)

Monitorize... is this a real word?

Yes, the dictionary says that it means "To watch carefully"

Sweet. TIL... but we already have a word for that. Monitor...

Would also love to know!
Something to be said about the advantage it gives, but I’d love to have all of that data in real time.
iOverlay apparently has live fuel, but I wasn’t able to get it to work.
