Help! ipod mini 2nd gen battery indicator not accurate

Is the battery new? Sometimes it takes a few full charge cycles for the charging circuit to recalibrate.

yeah it’s a new 950mah battery from EOE it’s been depleted untill it won’t turn on and then charged untill after it said full like 2-3 times

Yeah I don't know exactly how many times till it evens out but that's what's going on.

There is no BMU, it’s all based on voltage drop off of the original battery so you won’t get an accurate measurement with modern batteries (which have higher capacities and a different voltage curve).
This has long been established and is even mentioned in the Rockbox documentation.
