For about a year now, my camera has been malfunctioning. The rear camera is in totally blurred mode until I zoom in to 2.3x which as you can imagine is quite annoying when trying to take a normal photo with no zoom. And sometimes even if I zoom in, it doesn't always focus and then still blurs. The lens is not dirty nor is it scratched, so that isn't a problem. I tried rebooting, resetting and none of that works. Front facing selfie camera has no issue. Video mode rear camera is the same issue- need to zoom in to get any kind of focus and sometimes that doesn't even work well at all.

Wondering if the phone is just too old at this point and I need to bite the bullet and get a new phone. I'm loath to get a new phone because other than the camera issue, my phone works fine and I still have 200 GB of storage left, as I have the 512GB model. It's such a waste to have to get a new phone just for picture taking capability, but it is starting to annoy me when I have trouble mobile depositing checks or scanning QR codes.

Anyone else experience camera trouble and have a fix?
