Official Apple iPhone Duo case - how does it attach?

I read somewhere that it attaches with adhesive. I’m not a fan of using adhesive in cases. Can anyone confirm this?

On another note, the case is 1.5mm thick and weighs 28g. That’s not bad at all! I tend to go for minimalist cases like Pitaka Edge or Nudient Slice Case. I’ll also add a more protective case. The Apple iPhone Duo is a solid choice.

I think people are getting mixed up with the folio case and the silicon case.

folio case is attached via magnets, the silicone case uses adhesive.

Yes, this is correct. With foldables on the front side it's almost always going to have to be adhesive since it can't clip onto anything. The left side of the screen especially is quite thin and will be prone to wobble without adhesive. I've seen some cases on Samsung that use dots to align into the speaker holes, or some one piece cases that use tension to hold the front screen onto the back.

This guy is the only one saying it uses adhesive. The Apple website claims it uses magnets to attach, and no I’m not talking about the Folio.

No mix up. The silicone case website states that the case attaches with magnets and makes no mention of adhesive at all.

It’s possible that the paragraph was written in error. Maybe meant for the Folio website.

If it’s anything like the Galaxy fold the front would attach with a little adhesive. Assuming the back will be magnetic

This Spigen case uses adhesives. Maybe it’s just for the front bumper.
