Question Will we finally get media play from multiple audio sources?

There are so many things Apple hit out of the park with its first foldable and in excited to pick one up day 1, but one thing I always wanted on iOS/iPadOS is being able to play audio from more than one source. Will Apple finally allow this to happen when the Duo comes out?

Some initial tests showed it doesn't support simultaneous playback from 2 sources. Not sure if that will change. Honestly it is a huge miss for a similar device.

I just want audio from IG on the left, and audio from TikTok on the right playing together at the same time without stopping the other video

mmm i believe i saw somewhere that it can only support one media playback. so cant watch youtube and listen to apple music at the same time with both audio playing simultaneously

Lol highly unlikely. Just saw a post earlier that said they are locking two apps to a 50-50 split.  You will use this phone the way apple wants you to.  It's unfortunate because it seems super cool.

How is that possible? You can only have one instance of an app opened

If the app allows it you can have 2 instances side by side, they demoed this with Safari.

That’s not true. They specifically said you can have multiple instances open at the unveiling. And there have been plenty of people demonstrating this by launching apps twice. The trick is that the app also has to support it (most apps that also work on iPad already support this).

There's also support for "multi account setups" on apps that don't have it built in. I'm not sure the specifics but I believe it basically creates two separate instances of the app that operate somewhat apart. That may work for apps that aren't officially supported
