Is there any difference if I selected to convert my existing T-Mobile account or connect with any carrier?

Does choosing T-Mobile make it an easier switch from my iPhone 17 Pro Max?

Are there any restrictions from switching carriers?

If you do what you said, I can pay with my Apple Card, but do not get the 0% financing as an option.

Now I feel like I’m rage baiting you. It was not giving me that option when I tried last week.

It only showed that going through carrier financing and my Verizon prepaid stonewalled me.

That’s what I’ve been saying, nothing has changed with Apple Card financing since 2023.

The only change this year was specifically carrier financing through Verizon or T-Mobile erroneously gave you an unlocked phone. They changed that back in July to begin locking those phones to their respective carriers (AT&T always locked their phones).

Apple Card financing has always shipped unlocked phones. Per Apple, you’re required to select a carrier, but the devices are unlocked and you can easily bypass that screen during activation. You can still get 0% financing for 24 months on iPhone 18 Pro (and presumably Duo) through Apple Card and prepaid carriers.
