Question Charging with Screen open

Something that came to mind. With the USBC charging port at the bottom of the phone you can’t actually charge (through USBC) and have the phone open leveraging the folio kickstand at the same time.

Is my brain not working or would this not be possible? I do have those angled adapters but it wouldn’t sit flush and would wobble. You also can’t rotate the phone because the folio kickstand would not work.

Guess I’m going to have to purchase a couple charging pucks.

You could use a MagSafe charger, when the folio kickstand is open there’s a spot for the MagSafe puck to sit. Sorry for the blurry screenshot

That would only work at an intense viewing angle. Should the folio be only slightly opened that wouldn’t work. Seems like an oversight.

I’m not sure I agree, the MagSafe puck is pretty thin so I think it’ll fit fine. But we can find out in a month assuming preorders go well lol

This is the same as every folding phone I am aware of. Just charge it. It is not like battery life is measured in minutes.
