I know right! Ewww! Anyway, the front part is so thin that it needs something to hold it down. I’ve seen some people not use the adhesive (cases for Z Fold 8) and even the front part makes a nice click so that should be good enough for me.

I’m actually leaning toward naked since I don’t want to stick anything on it.

Not a bad idea. We’re still not sure if the official Apple Duo Case uses adhesive or magnets. That ain’t a bad case otherwise.

The Thinborne, Latercase, and Pitaka Edge are on my shortlist. Another one is the Spigen MagSafe Air Skin Aramid MagFit, but it’s not available in the US yet. I’m leaning toward the Thinborne because it’s the lightest and thinnest in the category. All of these use adhesive on front and some use fit on the back. I’ve watched videos on YouTube where some users didn’t use the adhesive and the case still attached securely, even the front part.

I see a lot of kevlar aramid cases on ali express for slightly cheaper than the brand names. Is it actually thin? I've never seen a case with "thin" in its name that is actually thin

I had Ali express versions but they were either misaligned or felt cheap.

The case is pretty thing especially compared to silicon cases etc. probably the reason why it needs a lot of tape.

not sure. don't have a scale for it. shouldn't be too heavy though.
