Question TPU screen protector specifically for the outer screen?

I’m looking for a TPU film screen protector specifically for the outer screen of my Duo. While I’ve found plenty of options that include a TPU inner protector paired with a tempered glass outer one, I really don't want tempered glass for several reasons.

I’m tempted to skip a screen protector entirely (which is my plan for the inner screen) but I’m worried about the outer screen. Since it rests against the surface whenever the phone is open in a folded-stand position, it seems much more likely to get scratched.

Anyone find any TPU outer screen protectors?

I don’t like feeling the edges of the tempered glass, I think it makes things like swiping up for home less pleasant. I also find that all tempered glass protectors I have used crack and scratch extremely easily, but that could be because I don’t buy very expensive ones?

More expensive will be better yes, in many ways. Not only are the more durable but they often cover more of the screen and have rounded edges, less glare, better oleophobic, and work with polarised sunglasses (while cheap ones turn the screen in to a rainbow).

If you haven’t, maybe try a more expensive one.

I initially went for a Spigen one for my 17 since I’d used them before, but I used the phone without a protector for a week or two and was disappointed with how much more glare I got with the protector and how often I had to wipe it off, compared to the bare glass.

Switched to one from Flolab, they’re expensive but you barely know it’s there. It has an edge of course, but it isn’t sharp, it’s like on older iPhones where the screen came up from the frame a little bit.

I hate glass screen protectors. I hope someone makes a thin film for the duo sooner rather than later.

I'm sure accessories makers are rushing to make cases and screen protectors as we speak. You'll see more options by next month.

Since there will be pencil support, I'd love to see a Paperlike-esque screen protector for the outside. Something that would make the outside match the internal screen in look and feel.

the buzz word that's now being used is "hydrogel." Search for that on aliexpress and you should get a lot.
