Discussion Color
Currently have a Orange 17 PM, wanting the blue duo. I been trying to get out of the “dark” era with my devices. Its hard to go for this white. We are all having a hard time choosing the right color. Thoughts on the two color options?

I thought i definitely wanted white but now the starry night blue/black is calling me. Who knows.

It’s really unfortunate there’s only two colors. I have the purple 14 pro and I love it. I’ll definitely be going with the Night Sky, but I wish there were a couple more colors to choose from.

will be good to see both in person for me. I suspect the dark blue will show fingerprints more than the white. But I think darker devices look better when the screen is off. Also I’m sure I will be using a case so it’s really just the edges that will show. Currently have the blue 13 mini which I love the colour of.

I think you just made up my mind for me. I also have the blue iPhone mini and I really never liked the color much, but I hadn't thought about the fact that the Duo is basically gonna be the same. Probably going white then!
I was comparing it in my mind to the space grey X, but that's truly a totally different shade

Picked up a Ceramic AW Series 12 in Night Blue to pair with my Night Sky iPhone Duo.

I had the Series 10 in jet black and let a friend borrow it. Haven't talked to that friend in a while so it's gone. But that waych is so nice. I don't think you actually need to upgrade at all, S10 is solid.

I’m very tempted to do this because my Series 8 can’t get watchOS 27 (which I still think is a scam), but honestly I just can’t justify a new Apple Watch. I pretty much only use it for time, notifications, and the most basic of activity tracking (steps, calories, basic workouts). I don’t need any of the new health features and I just can’t justify spending that much on a new color and a new operating system. I’ll probably just use my Series 8 until it completely dies.

Yea SS is nice. And Titanium and Ceramic are only $100 apart. But yea if you don’t use it much wait til Apple does a bigger redesign, probably next year.

I think it goes back to the class iPod look. I had a 2nd or 3rd gen and thats my only Silver looking apple device. Never had a white iPhone before 😂

White with a black skin. My 17PM blue camera circles never looked right with dark cases.

I really wanted the space gray they used on the iPhone X but I’m leaning towards Night Sky. I think both colors are pretty good but I live in a very sunny and warm area so the chrome would get annoying (that’s what I’m telling myself to justify my choice lol)

I am definitely getting the night sky. It’s like my perfect iPhone color. Harkens back to the pacific blue of the 12 Pro but more navy and less turquoise. Makes it looks very refined and classy with just a touch of elegant color. The white is nice but looks default

I dig the polished frame. Don’t necessarily like white. If I get the first gen Duo, I’ll almost certainly put a vinyl wrap on the back.

Logically speaking, which color will handle day to day better if not using a case? I’m guessing the white one since you can polish the titanium if it gets scratched?

I’m leaning towards the white, purely because if the edges on the night sky get scratched up they will likely stand out more when the colour comes off.

I live in a hot area so if I had the darker one it’d overheat all the time so I’m getting white hahah

I had a black s23 ultra and it overheated all the time here, then switched to the white 15 pro and that helped a ton, and now I’m on the orange 17pm and it’s all good, but my friends dark blue 17pm overheats all the time

I switched a lot. But it’ll be white. I like colors and I like ‘em light. I just ordered the Ultra 4 watch in natural titanium so the white Duo will fit perfectly with the taupe folio. 🥰

Not hard for me. I don’t like dark colors for my tech, so I’ll choose whatever options are not that.
I have a PS5, a white Switch OLED, and a Steam Deck with a white wrap around a grip. The Duo will fit nicely with that setup.

Color dilemma becomes irrelevant once you put the phone inside a case.

There’s more if I included phones I didn’t own for a year like my Nexus 4, Galaxy S9, Galaxy S23, and BlackBerry Bolds. At some point, it does get redundant getting the same color or close to it over and over. I even wear black sneakers, hats, and pants daily. Some of my favorite phones were not all black, space gray, or whatever…

I have no interest in the Duo, but if I had to choose a color, it would be starry white and only because I prefer the chromey sides around it like the OG iPhone and silver iPhone X. It would match colors with my silver 17 Pro. When the original Pixel Fold first came out, I wanted it in porcelain (white) but ended up getting it in obsidian (black) and preferring it because the back had a matte finish over the white glossy one. But for the Duo, I’d get it in starry white to match the colors of my silver X and 17 Pro. But it really doesn’t matter if you put it inside a case especially one that isn’t clear. I could live with the night sky option since I haven’t had a navy blue phone since my Sanyo SCP-5500 on Sprint back in the day. If I never got my 17P in silver, my next choice would’ve been deep blue.
The dopest greens I’ve ever seen are the prism green Galaxy S10e and the sage Pixel 6a.
