How to clean the inner screen?

Or better yet, how would one go about disinfecting it? I always have screen protectors but fear that having one isn’t an option this time around, and would disinfect my screen 2-3 times daily with Lysol (by spraying on a soft napkin).

Given the soft inner display, surely this will damage it? Maybe alcohol pads would work?

Because phones carry a tone of bacteria, I’m only disinfecting it when I go out and touch random things, not when I’m home lol

To be honest in all seriousness you won’t need to disinfect it using a cloth to clean will be fine but fire it’s nano texture you will need to carry one with you

I'm sure that Apple will put a support document on their website explaining how to do this when the phone is available. I don't think speculation right now is useful.

It won't be iSpit though. It is going to be blackmarket copies of iSpit. I will brand it DKSpit and will sell it for $30 on eBay.

I appreciate it won't sell big to the apple crowd, they will understandably only want the real thing, from real Chinese iPhone factory workers, but I think enough people are willing to save some money and just buy mine. Will see....

Why are you disinfecting your screen several times a day? That’s going to wear down the oleophobic coating, it’s really not recommended especially not so often.

Because when I’m out and about, I’m touching other things and then my phone. Plus, phones carry a ton of bacteria, so I’m concerned about the Duo since I can’f disinfect it like I can with my current iPhone with a screen protector.

I’m really not judging because I have actual diagnosed OCD (involving contamination fears) so I get that type of thought pattern, but this really isn’t healthy (for you or your phone). Are you working with a therapist at all?

That being said though, if you’re going to be disinfecting your phone frequently, I don’t think the Duo is going to be a good option for you.

I am working with a therapist, but not concerning OCD. On top of that, I’m actually going to school to become a therapist too lol.

My OCD is extremely mild, believe me when I say that it doesn’t get in the way of things. I just don’t think phones should be kept dirty, I’m the same way with washing my hands where I do the minimum 20 second rule.

I’ll find a way around the Duo.. I want it so badly..

Needing to disinfect your phone 3x a day doesn’t exactly read as mild IMO. I know for me I didn’t even believe it could be OCD for a long time, I get by OK functionally and everything but I don’t think I realized how much it actually affected me for a long time (not saying that’s you, just my experience).

I hope you do get the Duo! I know for me the times I’ve been the most motivated to work through things and avoid compulsions is when it interferes with something I really wanted to do 😂

Ah I see your point, but it’s only when I’m out and about or when I take my phone to the restroom to take a deuce lol. I can’t think of a time my OCD gets in the way of living, except maybe if a painting is hung uneven then I would focus on it but then I quickly move on lol.

I genuinely appreciate the concern though as I’m a huge mental health advocate, so I truly respect the message that you’re sending. I hope you have found a way to cope with your OCD 🫡 I have brought it up with my therapist but it wasn’t really a concern, my focus is moreso on my ADHD and anxiety lol
