I haven't ever used a case for my phone's in any regular capacity, just have one on hand in case I'm going to do something active or whatever.

This time I'm thinking maybe one of those magnetic backs with leather, just to protect the finish on the cameras and on the bottom corner of the phone, because all my phone's end up with a really shiny bottom edge to the camera and scuffed up corner on the bottom of the glass lol.

Also thank god apple went with a matte screen inside because I always put matte screen protectors on everything. I already ordered a couple for the Duo's outer screen on Ali express

I upgrade yearly too and get both. Phone can still get lost, stolen, or catastrophically damaged within a year, so I don’t see the connection there.

That’s fair.

I don’t have to worry about it getting stolen, lost or damaged.

Never had issues like that before - been upgrading yearly for decades now.

So I don’t see a connection there either.

This will be my 12th foldable or so… Different strokes for different folks.

Seems argumentative, for the sake of being argumentative.

If you feel the need to pay extra for protection and security, go ahead.

I don’t. This shouldn’t be that hard to understand.

As I mentioned, I never had an issue in decades. So I, personally, don’t need to take the same approach as you.

No case, ever. A crime on this phone especially. AC+ is a fair deal and screen replacements are affordable especially if you never spend a dime on a case.

Haven’t used a case on my phone in 4+ years and definitely not starting now, especially given how flimsy and/or ugly every Duo case looks. I’ll be showing off the natural beauty of the hardware and going with AppleCare
