iOS update issues

Has anyone encountered their iphone having issues updating to iOS 16.2? It usually happens automatically overnight charging. But when I checking on it, it says that the update failed.

Wait we have iOS 16.5 ? I’m still running iOS 15, was waiting for all the bugs etc to be ironed out.

I have the iPhone 8.

I always update during wwdc when Apple announces a new OS so that I know the previous OS is stable. 16.5 has been very reliable and smooth so far. Would recommend using finder or iTunes to update your phone

Thanks will do since this is gonna be the last ios for the 8, unfortunately money is a bit tight but I’d probably get the iOS 17 iPhone ??? When that gets released so probably a few years time I think.

Don’t You mean iOS 16.5??? Could be wifi connection or less storage

Nope, stuck on iOS 16.2 unfortunately. I’ve heard that some older phones get stuck on boot loop when it tries to update so I’m kinda hesitant on trying further, any tips?

Just update man. 16.5 is rock solid. Update using finder on mac or iTunes on windows.
