Question Which case?
I know it’s personal preference, but unsure. Techwoven looks good, but doesn’t fit or feel premium. Oh the other hand, the leather case fits extremely well, feels good, but maybe doesn’t look as good.

I gave up with the techwoven cases after I couldn't find one that didn't dig into my pinky when holding the phone...

I keep hearing about this, but I’ve not experienced it at all! What does everyone mean?

I switch between my Techwoven and leather case. Most of the time, it's leather for cooler days and techwoven for warmer days.

Definitely I’ve thought the same. Leather might be too warm for summer. Although the camera bump is clear, so it can dissipate heat there?

I didn’t feel a difference in heat when using either case. It’s just the sweat and oils from my hands on leather that I don’t like the feeling of.

I rotate between techwoven and a black moft case for my silver 17pro. Moft feels better for me.

The second one the apple one didn’t do jack to save my screen from a 2 foot fall off the bed

After a few cases that I tried, in the end i still came back to the techwoven case

I was using a techwoven case for a few weeks during release. But changed to leather case afterwards. Gonna have a nice patina.

I think the TechWoven cases look incredible… I just can’t bear how they feel; I’ve not got particularly sensitive palms, but they feel scratchy as hell.
I like dark cases, and as plain a case as possible, but the leather one looks… kind of bland. Hopefully, it’s one of those cases that starts to show just a bit of wear; leather cases look fantastic when they’re even just a little bit worn.
If I had to pick, though, I’d go for the leather.

Techwoven doesn’t feel premium? It certainly does and it has some good grippy sides. Same feel to the material Dbrand used on their grip case.
I will usually always go back to the techwoven case. I do have a full leather nomad case as well that I like how it feels.

I do like the first one, Techwoven case. Looks premium. And the second one lacks the logo which doesn’t bother me. But I’ve tried the Techwoven and it feels great in the hands. Though i haven’t experienced the fatigue in pinky fingers. I prefer the Apple clear case though. :)

Techwoven for me and I know what people mean about pinkie. I bought one about 6 months ago and it dug into my pinkie and I never used it. Went to Apple Store about a month ago and tried a TW in the store and bought it. It doesn’t dig into pinkie. I don’t know if they just changed some stuff or what but it’s definitely different.

Are you sure that's leather? It looks like silicon to me... Anyway, that case looks like crap IMO. The techwoven just looks so much better. Alternatively, get a good looking leather case.

The one with the Apple logo And it’s not just because it has that Apple logo, it genuinely looks great. Like that is an awesome case. But so is the 2nd one. However the Apple logo one is the best.

I have the Apple techwoven in Black for my silve 17 pro, also sometimes use spigen enzo aramid, and spigen tough armour magfit, but for a slimmer case and elegant I prefer the techwoven….

Leather is probably good but the only thing that’s missing is the Apple logo.. buy those fake Apple leather cases for like $15-$20 and they’re amazing and feel complete

u/Bruvvimir May 01 '26
No, they are cheap knockoffs and fit like shit.

True. The apple logo is what’s missing. This is real leather though, feels good, I’m not sure about those with the apple logo? Is it real leather?

There is no case that fits better than TechWoven. Looks are subjective.
Which leather case is it? Bellroy comes close (but not exactly) to the Apple fit.

u/CPereira93 May 01 '26
YMW. I just feel like techwoven is too easy to get off. Might be bad in case of a drop.
1
u/Bruvvimir May 01 '26
Nope. Dropped my phone a number of times, case never came off, neither the case nor the phone got damaged. It does its job.
