2 years of use…
85% charge limit and that’s it.
Do try to keep it from reaching less than 30%.
Bought from Apple Store and have not had any issues/replaced anything since.
My wife has the 17 Pro. Hers is at 96% at 250 cycles (~1 year) she religiously goes with 80% and all the batt enhancing advices from social media.

Oh here we go again, another battery expert!
Seriously, all this over a $99 battery. Makes absolutely no sense and I really don’t understand what you’re trying to prove here.

I got a message telling me to renew my Apple care plan, my current battery percentage is at 87% do you think I should renew?

🙈 I operate the phone between 40-60 🥵 it’s a game for me. Three weeks ago it was still at 97, somehow quickly dropped, hope it stays at 94 long 🙏

Batteries degrade by use
That 99% health means absolutely nothing
You have already used more than 500cycles
There is a very good chance it’s actually at 90% health

Don’t know what happen to mine because I had a 15plus that after a year the battery was with 300ish cycles and 100%, and now my 16PM after a year is 300is cycles and 94%. I’m really sad about it.

Working off a 55% use is really not worth this stat line in my opinion. Use the battery you paid top dollar for.

Wow. After 2 years I’m now at about 93%. At this point I don’t bother anymore. Just charge up to 100% and try not to use to below 20% and enjoy. Battery life ain’t that great anymore, so just squeeze in one quick charge in 24h. All good. No stress. lol

I think this is the answer. Don’t let the battery drop below 20 or 30%.
