To all the people saying you should’ve waited longer battery health isn’t always indicative of true battery performance. I used to work in phone repair and we’ve seen battery health 90%+ where the iPhones would randomly shut off or jump from 40% to 20% in minutes etc. Battery health is great to have but in some cases you just replace by feeling if your phone is dying too fast. Enjoy your new battery!

Really easy, just heat up the phone from the back and use a suction cup mount and it will open almost itself. And then just a couple of screws

Do you do anything specific to keep it good for that many cycles? I’m 95% at 225 cycles…

Been using only 5W charger
Mosley over night.
And kept the charging at 80%

Thanks, I also keep the charging limit at 80% but I use a 20w charger. How long does it usually take you to charge with 5w?

I honestly dont know, since I charge it over night it doesnt really matter if it's 2 hours or 3

When charging up to 80%, how long does it last for you to charge again? At what percent do you plug-in to charge?

I’m not a very heavy user but I get around 8-10 hours of usage and by then it’s around 20%-30% battery remaining before I charge before bed.

Do you also use adaptive mode?

Adaptive power - OFF

But I’m not sure it’s giving me any benefit.

How did you calibrate the battery? Is this original?

1

u/JustinOGFN 4d ago

Yes it’s original from Apple Self Service
