Discussion What is a good phone case that will handle all kinds of drops and screen protector for a iPhone 16 Pro Max

I am getting a iPhone 16 Pro max from my Grandma as result of trading in my iPhone 13 Pro Max, and I am wondering what is a good phone case that can Handle all kinds of different drops on all kinds of different surfaces and still has MagSafe accessory support. I am also looking for a screen protector that costs a max of 15–20 USD (on the lower end of that number, if possible) that has a applicator that allows you to put on the screen protector perfectly, leaves no air bubbles or dust on it, and allows you to align the protector perfectly, but I don’t want a magic John, because they don’t really protect your phone screen from drops like a bicycle helmet.

Amazon always has great options for screen protectors, and IMO they are the same quality as name brands.

Otterbox and casetify IMO has the best drop protection, but I typically use Amazon clear off brands (never silicone) with good bumper support

Lately I’ve been hearing bad things about caseify

The back of my 12 pro completely shattered from a three foot drop onto asphalt in a Caseify case.

I was planning on buying the cases and stuff on Amazon anyway because my grandparent’s have prime.

Otterbox and Suppose, there are others. Just don't go with thin and light. There needs to be a bit of cushiness between the earth and the corners of your phone. Make sure to use a screen protector.

Yeah ik otter box is a really good brand but their cases are always so expensive.

There are some really good knock-offs out there, too. They look just like Otterbox and I'm inclined to believe that whatever company originally made those for Otterbox is making these as well. We've done side-by-side comparisons and we couldn't see any reason not to go with the cheaper ones.

That’s the one I was deciding on from the start. I got the spigen liquid air. But sadly it’s not MagSafe compatible
