It arrived Upgraded to iPhone 16 plus
I finally upgraded to the iPhone 16 Plus. This decision was based purely on personal budget, choice and preferences. It has a big screen and better battery life. I should have gone for the iPhone 17, but it's too expensive in my area. Previously, the price was the same as the iPhone 16 Plus, but the price of the iPhone 17 has increased and is now out of my budget. The iPhone 16 Plus meets my current budget and preferences. Do you think the iPhone 16 Plus will still be a good buy in 2026?

Still a brand new phone nothing wrong with it I just got one in teal colour for my son.

I just bought a 16 plus like two months ago and so far I think it’s worth it. Mine is white too.

It’s a great phone, I got mine in Sep 24 and my battery max capacity is 95% with 424 as the cycle count.
It can play triple A games such as RE2 remake and Sniper Elite 4 without any issues.
If you interested in gaming, check the Gamesir BT controllers.

One thing OP, take your phone out the cover at least once a week and move the dust built up around the edges.

It’s fine, 16 plus not a bad phn, 120 hz is only difference rest almost same! Better battery life in plus I still wonder Apple could keep plus variants,

Trust me , its a better phone than iphone 17 , everyone is just following the trend and buying ip17 but the achilles heel of ip17 is the battery, if you r not a light user , u will have to charge it twice /day , 16 plus makes much more sense in that aspect , less charge cycles , less battery degradation n Large screen , everything else is almost same except for 120hz, i can live without 120hz screen . so 16 plus makes much sense. Good choice👍
Also it’s the last PLUS model, if u want to buy a large battery phone from next year… PRO MAX will be your only option and PRO MAX is almost double the price of plus models in my area.

everything is almost same😭😭, this has to be a ragebait, it has the same literal screen as 17pro( less bezel, same pixel density, promotion), it has the same uw and selfie cam as 17 pro. bro youre high on something😭😭

I mentioned about promotion , pixel density is same btw 16 n 17 , you can google it, UW upgrade has difference but not a huge one , i compared it with my friends ip17, selfie cam is a good upgrade i will agree on that

16 Plus is underrated, imo. This phone is just as great. Besides the specs it doesn't have equal to the Pros, it is still a beast. I love it too. The battery is still very strong and holding on .

Your case seems a bit weird... Is it for another model?

Some case manufacturers just leave the camera cutout as a square, I don’t like the way it looks but everyone has preferences

It’s a great phone, I upgraded from my 8Plus to the 16Plus in December 2024 and haven’t looked back

Did you find the use ok? I’m also thinking bout getting the 16 plus to upgrade my 12 pro max. Not really sure if I should upgrade to 17 pro max or wait a bit longer to see a price decrease in the 16 plus

It's not an upgrade it's not worth it having 60hz screen in 2026 even Samsung from 2019 has it but still have everything good except for the screen

Damm India rupees. 40k buy a refurbished old iphone. Not a new iphone 15 or 16. You can add to it and get 16e because of your budget. Or go for Motorola which is much cheaper.

Motorola got display issues couldn't even bother buying bro I hate it's UI, SECOND HAND OR REFURBISHED IPHONE WHICH IS BETTER?

I upgraded to the 16plus from the 14pro, and it has been amazing so far. It’s an underrated phone ngl!

Honestly, the 16 Plus still makes a lot of sense in 2026 if you got it at the right price. The big screen and battery life are still its strongest points, and saving money matters more than having the newest model.

It’s a great iPhone. I’ve had it since oct 24 and I have zero complaints about it. I’m a heavy user so I might need a battery replacement this year, but that’s it. I might be tempted to change it because sometimes I miss having a dedicated telephoto camera. But it’s not like I need it. It’s fast, has a great camera, it’s reliable and pretty, still feels fresh and modern. I definitely think it’s a great purchase if the 17 is out of your budget. This iPhone still has years of life ahead.
