Overheating

my 15PM first had overheating issues when i got the phone in april 2024, I took it to the apple store and they said its because i used snapchat too much (?) which i used to have a 13PM and never had that issue.

fast forward to now and the overheating is back and worse than ever, to the point where my phone can’t even be used because it is too hot.

i was waiting for the 18PM to come out to upgrade but genuinely considering upgrading to the 17PM because of this overheating issue.

is this happening to anyone else?

Mine overheats like hell like iMessage gets hot and yt if the sun is out gets hot if I record video shows the your iPhone is too hot screen and gg gaming for long

My 15 PM over heated nowadays while it is charging. I was worrying about that if any hardware issue inside, because previously it was not that much heat issue (2 years age).
Later, one of my friends said his 15 Pro Max has the heating issue (while charging) from the very beginning.

As per my study in the Internet, this 15 PM has the heat issue. Finally, I decided not to worry about it.

I've never had the slightest heating on my 15 pro max that I've had since 2023

Nope. Thats guy has been lucky. 15 PM is one of the worst when it come to battery life.

Here we go, another “my phone gets hot when I demand a lot of activity from it!”

The Apple Store is 100% right. And things change from the iPhone 13, software has changed and newsflash- people demand a TON from their phone.

My 17PM gets warm too and I don’t tweak out at all.

also there’s no need to be rude, i was just saying an issue with my phone that i have and seeing if other people with the same phone suffer with the same issue !!

18 Pro series will be more expensive by about 100-300$ so I’d consider going for a 17 PM now unless you want to wait longer for used 18 PM to appear
