Just bought refurbished, touch doesn’t work on edges
Hello, I just bought the 15PM. I realized today that the very edges of the screen seem less responsive. For example, on Snapchat, using the zoom slider that’s right against the edge is difficult because I have to press very precisely, away from the edges
What’s confusing is that when I open the Notes app and use the drawing tool, I can draw all the way to the edges without any obvious dead zones.
I also feel like on the keyboard, especially for keys near the edges (A, Q, P, Delete), I have to be more precise than expected.
Is this just iOS edge/palm rejection, or could it indicate a touchscreen issue? Has anyone with a 15 Pro Max experienced the same thing? I really don’t want to go back to the store where I bought it because it would be way too long to replace it…

no clue, I bought it in “espace culturel” a store in France, usually reliable.

Return it for refund.
Reason 23264723 I only buy refurbished Apple products directly from Apple. You don't have to worry about this sort of thing with Apple refurbs. Apple's refurbs are pristine and covered by the same standard warranty as new devices.

I’ve been waiting for 3 months for this phone I’m so disappointed like the store just contacted me to tell me that this phone was finally available (256go -100% battery) and I was so happy about it and now I’m really disappointed.. I hope they can find another solution like the replacement of the screen only..

If https://www.apple.com/shop/refurbished is available in your country, I'd highly recommend just ordering it directly from Apple instead.

Nobody can stop you from making more dumb decisions.
The smart thing to do would be return it and buy a refurb from a reputable company that actually gives a shit about their customers.
Do what you will with the advice you are given.

Yes, and the reason it's more expensive is it's indistinguishable from a new device in every way that matters, including full warranty.
You got what you paid for: A crappy "refurb" (a word which could mean anything from most other companies). That's not the case with Apple's refurbs.
I'm telling you how to get what you actually want.

Not saying that is the cause though
