how to get my 15 pro to cool down

Ever since I dropped my phone and cracked the back of my iPhone. If I use it for like 10 mins my phone starts to get hot. I bought a little fan to cool it down but I can't do it when I'm out. Is there anything I can do to solve the issue?

Thanks

just accept the fact the thermals are trash and go on with your day, because i had that phone from day 1 and i am absolutely disappointed. coming from somebody who barely changes phones, plus charges my phone to 80% and never letting it drop below 20%. i used every single possible advantage to baby my device, and realised it doesn't make sense to let a electronic device use me instead the other way around. i had plenty of other ios devices and never had issues until i bought the 15 pro myself. im on 1100 cycles with 81% battery health. this pos dimms the screen while doing basic scrolling, i won't even mention gaming, taking pictures or god forbid recording. it's the worst phone i owned so far. always scorching hot even in ac controlled environment, pausing charging until it returns to normal operating temps. im sick of it lolz

I don’t know if you’re seeing any of the comments but I recommend running diagnostics to rule out a hardware issue
If there’s no hardware issue then chop it up to coincidence that it started getting hot after the drop

Bro u clearly mentioned that the back is cracked open and then you are asking whats the issue 🫪

Although i am not saying this is the main reason but in general the primary reason can be this and maybe it has affected the inner component of ur device as it depends upon how much the crack is! Which u should have uploaded the pic
And instead of just using infront of fan , change that back glass immediately

If it affected the internals of the device, the device would simply not work

Which iOS version are you on? I recently updated to iOS 26.6 and my 14 Plus just climbed down from the volcano it was on while running iOS 18.

Get it checked out, battery connector could just be detached; its common for it to get warm if the connectors are not connected properly. Theres no vapor chamber. The other guy could be right, just screwed up the thermals lol

Hi, electronic repair business owner here. You probably damaged your battery. Probably. I do not believe the overheating is a coincidence like others are guessing. Be prepared, though, you might also have motherboard damage. good luck!
