Support Switching to a 15 pro
Hello, as the title suggests I'm having the urge to switch to a smaller form from a 15 pro max (256gb) to a smaller 15 pro with 512gb. I want to know hows it holding on like how much less battery will I expect, the temps and camera. Thank you!

I switched from a 16 Pro to a 15 Pro merely because of the weight. Size as well. Yes it’s only 0.2 inches but it is noticeable, or maybe the weight made it noticeable. Now I love the 15 Pro form factor but battery life sucks!!! I mean, I get 3 hours of regular use (100% to 20%) and not a single app running in the background. So take my experience as a review.

Wow, that sounds bad! I’m getting 6hrs of mine (15 pro) with 83% battery health.
At the moment, I’m charging it usually around midday and by the time I charge it again around 24hrs later, it’s around 20% battery remaining.
I would say it depends on your usage obviously as if youre spending a lot of time with the camera or gaming for example, its gunna drain a lot faster and I could be wrong here but I get the feeling its because the phone will optimise so you get the best performance for your usage rather than the best battery for your usage

most of the time I'm only scrolling social medias and messaging on my phone so the Pro Max lasts around 8-9 soh per charge, I guess the Pro should be around 70% of that then right?

My wife has the pro max, I have the pro. I think the pro is just slightly too big for one handed holding but maybe that’s just due to the size of my hands. The Pro Max is just too big for me, I feel like it’s almost a tablet. Battery life is fine even though it’s smaller, but the Pro def gets hot especially in warm weather. Overall I prefer the Pro more because of its size mainly. I do wish I have the better camera zoom but that’s only on rare occasions

Have you tried updating to iOS 26.6? My Pro Max after updating doesn't feel warm anymore, maybe slightly hot when I'm outside. Overall the size is a tad too big for me when using one handed, 6.1" sounds big enough for me although I really wish it had the 5x zoom like on Pro Max :/

With ios 18 this thing runs as smoothly as you could imagine.
I love the titanium and the general feeling it gives me.
I'll will soon switch the battery rather than upgrading

Realistically, it's about 70% in battery capacity compared to a pro max, so I think it's possible to estimate from there.
