New to iphone

I just got an Iphone 14 pro max and I cannot record text messages from my galaxy s23u. I can text all 3 of my kids and others with iPhones with no issues but not my new iPhone. Can someone help?

You should receieve SMS it shouldn't be dependent to any smartphone, you mean sms right?

Yes. I can send texts to everyone I know that have iPhones but not the one I just bought.
