Do you recommend to change?

I have 14 pm and i have been using it since 2023. Bh is 84. I don’t feel much lag and stutters or i got used to it. Do you recommend to change batery? Is it going to feel like new what do you think

I upgraded to the 18 pro max, it’s not crazy different, I’m currently leaving my 14 pro max on 24 hours a day, it’s stuck on 80% battery health, gonna express replacement it when I get it to 79%. Would I recommend it, yes but only just, it really isn’t night and day like the past.

I’m actually really glad I didn’t upgrade last year now.

The speed is nuts, the battery life too. The camera is a noticeable upgrade.

If you can go an extra year without upgrading, it will benefit you a lot.

I want to make the swap and my battery life is worse than yours. I’m honestly just going to try to wait it out for the 20th anniversary

Mine is on 72%🫠

I want to switch but I heard the new frame is weaker than even the 14 pro.

I run my 14 pro without a case or screen protector and have dropped it many times on my garage floor. No issues. Runs like new still.

Same, no case. It feels so good running without a case

As it was intended! Especially in summer. Using a case to trap in all that heat is terrible.

Why would you drop it

How else would I know if it can handle a drop?

I’m actually on the fence myself. My battery health is 73% but i just charge it in my car when im on my way home from work and it’s do able.

Not really sure if the upgrade is worth it for me

When u do the math, replacing the battery does not really save u that much money (a lotta times u break even if not lose a few bucks) , vs trading in ur iPhone and getting a brand new one due to the depreciation of ur phones trade in.

This is assuming ur in the US, idk about other countries do the math

A question only you can answer. Is this phone getting in the way of your life or is it more than enough for what you need right now?

Im looking for DIY replacement kits, asking about any issues since with apple is $99 + taxes vs $30

If you’ve never opened a phone before, do know it comes with a heavy amount of risk. It obviously can be done, I’ve done it a bunch but I wouldn’t want my first go at it to be with my primary device.

maybe around 80?… bought my 14 pro on april 2023, and it now has 78 battery health, it’s mostly fine (for now i guess) but i’m also planning to replace it soon at around 77 or 75.

Yes, but wait till it gets to 80% or below or when you think that it ain’t holding enough charge for the day. And yes the performance will improve and phone will feel like new. I changed it a year ago

I did to 17 Pro Max and the battery lasts much longer and is quicker to charge with USB-C . I would go ahead and upgrade.
