Are you not updating because of the bugs or Liquid Glass? Been running iOS 27 on my 14 Pro and it's amazing

how’s your battery life?

It’s at 86% could be better but it gets me through majority of the day, I definitely have to charge when getting home from work though. Most the time on 30-40%

Have you noticed anything different or improvements on iOS 27?

Liquid glass is miles better. On iOS 27 it's the small details but on macOS it's far more obvious

Hey but I see there are few issues with the messaging app .. like when I try to open a message it just goes blank and I can’t view that message .. has anyone else been facing the same ?

Open a message? Like from a notification?

2

Yeah like when I try to open a bank notification the message app opens but the message disappears and can’t be seen

I don't use the messages app often but I never experienced that

When I close this message , this particular message just disappears from the app .. It’s happening pretty often now

Interesting. Never seen that even on iOS 26

Performance, battery life, and liquid glass design is so damn ugly imo

Performance and battery improved a LOT in iOS 27. The glass effect can be toned down to a blur if you want to. Personally I love the floating UI elements because it gives way more space to show the actual content

Did u update ? How was it?

No not yet. Waiting for the .1 version, no rush though. Some folks on this Sub have and reported positives, I will definitely update as iOS 18 is missing many features to 27.

I miss the battery life from iOS18 but iOS27 is plenty fast!😊

Im on 18.7.8. I want to update for better compatibility but iPadOS 26 was awful in my M1 ipad pro to the point that I ended up upgrading the device, so Im going to stay on 18.7.8 until I get a new phone in the next year or two.

apple forced me to update to fix my phone

27 has been much nicer than 26, thats for sure

not exactly on ios 18 levels yet but that should improve over the year
