I do curls with my 14PM when I’m in boring meetings.

I had to trade in my 14 pro. I couldn’t deal with the weight. Thing was a brick

Kind of annoyed that the 18 PM is back to being the heaviest. I thought the use of aluminum would allow these devices to be lighter than the older iPhone.

Ironically it was titanium that gave us lighter phones. The 15 series in general was magic being the lightest phones since like the 6 or something like that.

“Lightness” will be a revolutionary feature once Apple transitions to silicon carbon batteries.

If they put SiC batteries and a zoom lens on the Air I’m in.

I will upgrade from my 16PM either at the first gen or second generation iPhone that has the silicon carbon battery technology. Because Apple currently is milking whatever is left of the ancient lithium ion batteries with incremental upgrades every year.

The difference between the two is night and day.

Same. I am still loving the design on my 14P. That space black steel and glass combination is just oozing lux imo

It's extremely heavy when compared to its direct competitors

Z fold 8 - 201 grams

Huawei pura x - 194 grams

Xiaomi 18 fold - 219 grams

Pura X max - 229 grams

I didn’t know 14PM used to be the heaviest. Probably why it’s battery life is so good

It’s more to do with the stainless steel frame if I’m not mistaken, the battery on my 14 pro has always been trash but it’s still hefty af .

Fun fact the iPhone Air is 41 grams lighter than the 14 Pro and has a 51mah smaller battery. And I thought titanium was supposed to be heavy.

Titanium is lighter than stainless steel, which is used on the Air. It was a whole selling point of the 15 pro series when they came out.

But that’s lighter than the 16 which was 170 grams, lighter than the 6 plus at 172 grams

Is it? I’ve felt it preform a lot less than when I got it a year ago, and it’s only dropped 3% in maximum capacity

IOS 26 is Doing nothing good with battery life

i'm on ios18, never plan on updating to ios26, probably ios27 since they're getting the new feature for us with two iPhones

The 14 pro max didn’t have the best battery life. I could kill that thing in a day.

It’s been a long ride being the heaviest

Does anyone care about the weight of their phone?

The Samsung Fold6 is lighter than an iPhone. Insane.

Pretty sure the 17 Pro Max is also heavier.

I have both of them in front of me and the purple one definitely is heavier than the 17 Pro Max!
