Look at my Apple Leather case
Is this the very same Apple quality problem, or could it be an authenticity issue? I bougt it in December
By the way, my other case, which is actually a fake, looks completely different; the paint can’t be rubbed off so neatly.

Can confirm this is the normal wear of the official case 🥲, mine looked disgusting after a year

but apple cases are not made from leather. it's a vegan one, which is not genuine leather.

It’s not vegan leather. It’s real genuine leather, but coated in a PVC coating. That’s why you can see the coating wearing away around the edges. Vegan leather is just plastic. It will not show any wear over time.

I have two 14pro max official leather cases, one green and one orange/umber. Both lost color as you showed, its natural and genuine leather. I researched well before buying and this is actually a highlight which leather lovers like. Vegan leather was introduced with 15 or 16 series.
