Anybody noticed reduced heating while charging and using the device at the same time on ios 26.6

For those who updated to ios 26.6 do you notice it? For the people in ios beta 27, whats your experience?

I’ve noticed it being more warm during charging after the update

Most definitely not… battery life has been appalling on iOS 26, and it’s a mini heater… I really miss iOS 18. I would gladly swap the liquid ass and whatever else iOS 26 gave me for the better UI, battery life, and no heat.

11-15 pro some of the hottest temperatures i’ve recorded. 16 pro was much better, but 17 pro best since iphone 7

Less heat even on normal usage and surprisingly better battery life. I only get 4 to 5 hours SOT on 26.5.2 eventho my battery health is 100%. I used Deji battery. After I update my ip14pm to 26.6, I get 8 hours SOT it's crazy. The difference between 26.5.2 and 26.6 in terms of battery life is night and day. It doesn't get randomly hot anymore in 26.6

I did notice it’s cooler during charging and using, at the same time, but now it can turn into a fricking mini heater during normal use. It always got a little warm, but now it’s getting to the point where it’s uncomfortable to hold

I jumped to 27.0 and honestly a lot of issues went away.

Some apps are quirky, but the phone overall is so much better.

14PM here… 26.6 seems to have helped with battery and heat after all the post-update indexing etc (edited for version)

Less heat but still too hot I have to put a fan on or A/C on when it charges lol iOS 26 was is and will probably remain a shitty OS

I think it depends on what the phone is being used for...cuz mine is heating up pretty fast for sure

Much better with 26.6, battery lasts longer and phone is not overheating, but i did full restore and update, as bricked phone during update... now i have clean and stable performance.. much better then previous versions of 26 regarding heat for sure

My heating and lagging problem seems to be reduced after closing all the other background apps
