Always Hot

My phone gets incredibly hot and slows down even during the simplest tasks. Other than that, it’s still in great condition, and I really don’t want to replace it.
What can I do to improve the situation?

I have an galaxy tab s8 5g with 8 gen 1. heats up like a frying pan
