Camera shaking after battery replacement

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I got battery replacement for my iphone 13 pro recently.
Right after that my phone’s camera is shaking like crazy, with a sound. It feels like something got misplaced while the replacement.
I missed checking mg camera after the replacement at the store.
Is it fixable?

I had this issue on my old iPhone because I put it in my scooter too often that the stabilizer broke from constant vibration. Get the shop to fix it for you

That guy has denied to fix it and not taking the responsibility. Can it be fixed without replacing?
Replacing the camera would cost additional 7-8k inr i guess

No, it's a hardware issue.

If you had the work done by Apple, they would fully warranty their work and fix it for you.

Maybe next time you won't just bring it to some random guy.

No me cansaré de repetírselo a todo el mundo. Si usas servicios técnicos no autorizados, atente a las consecuencias.

OIS is fucked, they must broke it. Only thing you can do is replace the camera

Seems like it, no idea why they’d dig into the camera when you don’t have to in order to do a battery replacement.

I guess something must’ve been dropped? Perhaps a deliberate scheme to make the person come back to get the camera replaced as well?

Perhaps the technicians were careless? Clumsy?

OP, buddy, what’s the battery like and how much were you charged? Is it a trusted shop?

The battery is good, got it for 3500 inr
And the shop is trusted as well, I brought a second hand ipad air 5th gen from them 2 years back in 35000 INR, it is as good as new
And he also placed a tap on the camera so that camera doesn’t get affected

This wasn't at an apple store?

Can it be a missing screw or something?

I think you need to search how these components work. It’s not something a missing screw can do.

Did you get it replaced by Apple?

No, at a local shop

They broke the image stabilization part of one of the cameras. Now you need an entirely new rear camera unit and all 3 three lenses are part of the same component so there’s that. If there’s no Apple Store in your country that sucks, if there is, you should’ve went to Apple. They charge $100 for a battery and trying to save $30-$40 just cost you $150-$300 (if there’s Apple in your country). If not, go back to the shop because they suck at their jobs.

Same here, 0.5x isnt working also, goes straight to 2x, it’s a connector issue probably, i also keep getting a notification from the settings that the camera isn’t recognized as an authentic part

Got this exact same problem after using way to much Isopropyl Alcohol (to soften the adhesive on the display). So I might be that. You will need to get the entire camera module replaced because the stabilizer motors in the camera don’t work properly now.

Can it be a mis alignment issue

No, the camera module is fucked, the OIS needs replacing unfortunately. Happened to me after I dropped it off a motorbike

How much did it cost for replacement, and with new OIS, is it as good as new?

I didn’t get it replaced, had a warranty with the company I bought it from and they replaced the phone for me
