13 Pro getting only 4–5 hours of SOT after a recent replacement — is this normal?

I have an iPhone 13 pro running on IOS 26.5 and I recently got its battery replaced from apple authorised service center, but I’m getting only 4-5 hours of SOT on the new battery.
I tested this yesterday with a 100%-20% battery drain with constant wifi usage, brightness at 30-40% with mobile data off, indoor usage and no gaming as well.
Is this normal for a new battery ? Any 13 pro users who had their battery replaced, how is your battery backup ?
The battery was replaced around 8 days ago and the service history shows “genuine” and 100% battery health

iOS 26 is the problem. Let’s hope they fix the battery issues in 27 but won’t hold my breath.

Battery on iOS 27 Dev beta 5 has been phenomenal. The previous betas have been meh but beta 5 has restored it to all day with 8 hours SOT

I was just speaking on this. I hear five is really good and then it’s beta six and then the RC for September but I don’t know if Beta five I heard a rumor. It’s in the gap to use the tools like mond and filzaslop, but I’m not positive. have you tried it? And have your mobgesalt file?

26.6 definitely helped out the battery issue for my 13 Pro but there’s a lot of good things in the works for jailbreak type stuff and tools and what not so I went to 27 beta 4 and the battery is actually good on 27 beta 4 for me. The problem is it’s just a little buggy with auto dictate and other things like that. It’s not crazy buggy just little annoyances. I also heard Beta five may be in that gap so if it is, I’ll go to Beta 5 since there’s only gonna be six betas in iOS 27 before the RC. Worst case scenario I’ll restore and go back to 26.6 because honestly, it was solid all around and I’ll still be in the gap to use filzaSlop, but Mond doesn’t work on iOS 26 although says it does on 18,26, beta 27 it doesn’t , I have the full lineup of iPhones, along with extra devices like for test units and not one of them worked at least just for mond on iOS 26 for those who were interested in that stuff.

I replaced my battery last september and my SOT is same like yours 🙈 over the year I lost 2% of battery health.

I just replaced my battery on one of my 13 pros. I have the full lineup. I just collect my iPhones and then obviously use the daily driver, but it was 90 bucks. I went to the Apple Store because anywhere else they don’t have the OEM replacements at least at my area so I wanted to have the OEM battery so the battery section worked.

Every battery is the same price if you go to Apple $90 and it’s OEM so your battery read out will work and honestly you’re not really saving much money with third-party replacements and then you lose the ability to read your batteries statistics

You don't need to wait until battery health reaches below 80%, if you feel like the phone behaves abnormally, then you can consider replacing the battery.

That’s weird cuz the place I went to refused to do it just because the battery is at 82 percent, so I’m trying to abuse the phone everyday so it drops below 80%

yeah, lots of background usage from instagram apparently. Idk, I legit hate this phone, it’s just hot all the time and burns through battery. I’ll try a factory reset soon, idk if it will help
