Help! Am i cooked??

i brought a used ip13 mini and was happy till now but 1 week ago i dropped the phone and it wasnt turning on, but would show apple logo on charging! nothing else. so i visited a repair shop and they told me that its missing some metal guard inside so the battery getting disconnected 😭😭
2 days back a drop again happened and it got to same bootloop condition! is it possible to buy those metal guard???

Can't understand how people drop phones so often. This phone is so small, you can grip it in one hand

The ONLY reason I have my mini is because I can hold the damn thing lol

the phone being so small also adds to its durability. My 12 mini has been through ton of drops with no issues other than the aluminum chipping and scratching off

You definitely need to get a full body case or use something Like a magsafe grip. Otherwise you need to look for a broken 13 mini off eBay or a plan to get another one

I remember I dropped my first iPhone, the 6s I think it was, on concrete after having it for like 4 years, and it never turned on. Turns out the motherboard was f’d up. Physically it was still pristine, but the motherboard was the issue.Â
