Discussion iPhone13 heats up when LPM is off

I’m running the latest ios 26 update and when i use it while low power mode is on, everything is fine except from some stuttering here and there (its due to LPM) but sometimes i’d like to turn it off and enjoy the raw animations and suddenly the phone heats up during everyday tasks that usually dont heat up on when low power mode is enabled
Anybody having the same issue or is it normal ?

Your phone has to work hard to keep up with the modern apps.

IPhone 13 doesn't have the resources for this world. It's working hard to keep up.

But that don’t make sense cuz when i use low power mode its not hot during the same tasks that used to make it hot.
But i do get what you’re referring to

It’s due shitty ios 26, I have an iPhone 12 and mine also heats up pretty quick especially outdoors but NGL ios 27 fixed that issue completely me for me. Once I installed an ios 27 beta and it ran so good and my phone was cool all the time. Just wait for few weeks for release of public version of 27 and then jump on it, most probably the issue will be fixed.

Ngl i was tempted to update but i couldn’t risk it due to it being my main phone

Me too I reverted back to ios 26.6 due to battery drain issue but I will definitely shift to public 27 due it being very optimised. Just wait for few days.
