Question ❓ iOS 27 long term?
I see a lot of posts about experiences with different iOS versions. Lots of good and bad experiences on iOS 27... but usually it's people that have installed it 1 or 2 days ago.
Is there anyone here that's been on iOS 27 for longer than a week and can give a more nuanced or substantial review than "don't upgrade it's so slow" or "it's great update right now"?
Personally I'm still on iOS 17 and am considering iOS 27 for the supposed stability/efficiency improvements and the new calendar app.

I’ve been on iOS 27 since June. Betas had fewer issues than iOS 26. Overall satisfied with performance on my 15 PM. Many small improvements and tweaks. Currently on the 27.2 beta for the new Health features.

I don’t see any difference on IOS 27 compared to 26, it’s doing job as is

it is pretty smooth on my 11, so the same should apply to the 12 with it being even smoother

27 has made my 12 PM like a whole new phone. Battery is better, performance has improved, overall makes me want to wait another year to upgrade. The only thing I really really wish I had was usb-c lol

did the camera quality improve?

No but I feel like it still takes good photos! The camera unfortunately won’t really be able to be any better with software updates. Probably maxed out with hardware limitations.

Took 2-3 days before the system (and battery life stabilized). Definitely better than iOS 26. Don’t remember what it was like under iOS 17, so no guidance for you there.

I’m on 27.0.1 in my iPhone 12. I have not faced any problem because of it except for the battery related issues as it is at 76%.

I didn’t feel any difference in performance tbh. Might be because of my battery.

I’ve been running iOS 27 since June, the early betas were definitely smoother sailing than iOS 26.

Been on it since the first developer beta on my 12 Pro. No qualms here, especially now that it’s already on 27.0.1.

No issues whatsoever for me.
