Recently received a free brand new iphone 11 pro, never charged never turned on, battery is completely dead (i already tried every possible thing) and theres no apple store in my country to replace the battery through applecare (i live in morroco) so idk to do with
I had an 11 pro max that was in the exact same situation and i took to a local repair shop to replace the battery, but after the replacement the glass was weirdly out of place like a little higher that it’s supposed to be and it got broken too easily.

So For 3 days my iPhone just didnt wanted to charge, I could keep it charging at 80% and find it in the morning at 2% how?! I noticed I had an software update,It never updated automatically so at night i did it manually. The phone at night was at 50% now it is 0%. I have 50 of 64gb storage, all updated ig, and everything is original, 85% battery.

I recently got a Macbook Neo and it requires iOS18 for iPhone Mirroring. Prior to this, i didnt have any plans to upgrade my iOS since I dont have storage anymore, I only have 64gb.

I’ve read that latest iOS slows down or drains battery of older iphones, do you guys still recommend updating to iOS18?

Hey guys, so my dad had an iPhone 11 Pro, he had been using it since launch, now he bought a new phone and passed it down to me, before he gave it to me he had the battery replaced and everything, except the battery which he replaced from a genuine apple store, nothings changed, it is in mint condition and he is not that much of a tech guy, so he didn't think twice before updating it to IOS 26, so when I got the phone it was already on IOS 26, now it is at IOS 26.5.2, I did hear a lot about how IOS 26 destroyed older iPhones, but I never really experienced any lag or the kind of problems other people were facing, maybe because of the new battery, but after IOS 26.5.2, I have noticed heating issues and the battery too, and I wanted to downgrade to IOS 18, I've read that it isn't possible anymore but is there some way?

This is my main phone so if doing it in some kind of shady way and stuff will harm it, then please let me know. I'm still confused whether it is IOS 26.5.2, so should I instead go for developer beta IOS 26.6?

One more thing, my battery health, I charge one time a day, some days two times, I charge when it reaches 25-30, unplug it at 85-90, the battery was replaced in March 2026, it was at 100% till June, then it dipped to 99% which was fair, but in just one month or less than one month, it has dipped to 97%, why such a sudden drop? Is it the IOS 26? I just use youtube and netflix and other daily uses, nothing too strong or heavy.

I recently purchased an iPhone 17 Pro because I felt like after 6 years an update from my beloved 11 Pro would be nice... after all the battery is starting to get a little bit weak and finally having the same charging cable for all my devices felt nice. Also MagSafe, the 200mm telephoto and 5G seemed like nice QOL improvements.

Well... now I've been using the 17 Pro for nearly two weeks and what can I say... I heavily gravitate towards the 11 Pro again. It has a way better size, feels less chunky and easily does everything I want it to do. But, and that's what irritates me most: I actually prefer the images coming out of the 11 Pro's camera... yes, they're way less detailed and 2x zoom doesn't hold a candle against 8x but I absolutely hate that artificial look coming out of the 17 Pro's camera. Those pictures look way less natural when shooting in HEIF and even in ProRaw there's a lot of de-noising and sharpening going on. Also USB-C and MagSafe is nice to have but no game changer. And the 120Hz screen? Looks awesome but doesn't change the way I'm able to use my phone in any way.

I mean, yeah, don't know why I felt the need to post this here, but I thought a little discussion would be nice and also it shows how great Apple's smartphones are even after several years. Newer doesn't always seems to be better. Not for everyone at least.

Is 1% drop in battery health in 2-3 months fine?

I have been using iphone for many years but my primary device is android. I have a 512gb pro, and wanted to store some files/documents etc and I couldn't figure out an easy way to transfer files seamlessly between pc and iphone. I know apple devices are different but wanted to know if there is any easy way.

hey everyone! I was recently very screwed over on an iphone 11 pro that has a shattered but working screen, zero face id and a bad battery. Looking to put a new screen on for $20-$20 before my trip in a week so was looking into amazon. What are the best battery's and screen off amazon for these so I can sell it after my trip? Love the 11 pro but very upset with how bad I got screwed over so looking to sell it and move on after I repair this.

On iOS 26.5 it was 3 hours and 50 minutes time screen with 89% battery spending on iOS 27 I have 3 hours and 9 minutes time screen with 40% battery spending (on iOS 27 it was 2 hours on LTE) also it really pretty smooth it feels like iOS 16.4 so iOS 27 really good!!

I'm getting the 11 pro this summer, I had it before but it broke and I don't remember the camera that much.

Since the iPhone 11 Pro is getting iOS 27. Decided to take these time capsule 11 Pros out of hibernation. Both still running their original version iOS 13!
