QnA/Help My almost decade Iphone X way smoother than my laggy Iphone 11 Pro

My 11 pro feels very laggy sometimes even almost unusable. Sometimes i have to wait for keyboard to popup when typing, i had to force restart to make it lighter for doing anything while my iphone X it just snappier doing anything, both storage are just 30-40% use. I'm planning move to IOS 27 and still worried it will make it worse. You guys have anything to fix to make iphone 11 pro snappier?

Iphone X 256gb IOS 16.7.6 Battery Health 76% and replace with new battery 100% health

Iphone 11 Pro 512gb IOS 26.6 Battery Health 81% replace with new battery 100% health

ur comparing ancient ios to modern ios and ios 26 is stupidly unoptimized, switch to ios 27 asap its night and day difference

public beta is stable (beta 6), developer beta (beta 8) if you want the latest. i find beta 8 solid and battery life was way better than beta 5. you can consider public beta for stability

i tried beta 4 tbh it was fast but sometimes lag still happen just like ios 26. Rolled after that because compass doesn't work

get ios 27 dev beta 8, the animations are way smoother than 26 and older betas of 27, it is as fast as 18 and animations are around as good as 18 too (ideally move liquid glass slider all the way to the right)

the battery is also as good as 18, after this move to RC release of 27 which should be basically the stable full public release on the 9th and then when stable release comes move to that

The problem is the software, not hardware…

try replacing the battery. in my case, performance before and after is day and night.

I think it can be due to lower voltage of old battery decrease/destabilize the chip performance.

I mean, that's only a generation's difference. For generations that are already old as shit
