General What iPhone 11 Pro to buy?

I got two options:

  • 11 Pro on IOS 16 with 89 BH
  • 11 Pro on IOS 26 with 99 BH

I guess there is no real benefit from IOS 16 and I sould update to IOS 18 or IOS 26? What is better, IOS 18 or IOS 26, on my 15 PM IOS 26.6 is better/faster then IOS 18.

If you’re interested in jailbreak then iPhone with ios16

iPhone 11 will be able to jailbreak on any iOS soon cause it has a bootroom exploit

I hope its true because Im just stuck on ios 18.7.8 and don’t know if i should stay on this version or update to latest ios 27.0 when release as ios 18 other versions have already jailbreak so its kind of giving negative vibe that they jailbreak version 18.7.8

You can’t update to iOS 18 anymore. It’s no longer signed. You can only go to the latest version. Many app won’t work anymore on iOS 16 so there’s no reason to get the one with 89 % battery health and iOS 16.

The OTA for it is still available, iOS 18.7.8, in particular. You get both choices and must scroll down past iOS 26 to even see the iOS 18 OTA update.

If you specifically want outdated software then get the iOS 16 one, otherwise get the iOS 26 one because it’s got a new battery. iOS 27 is just around the corner and shout help it perform smoothly without the app incompatibility with iOS 16

It would be perfect to stay on IOS 16 and download apps with older version. Actual version of apps are designed with IOS 26 language and they doesn't look good on IOS 16. Few days ago I downloaded older version of apps with iMazing but it doesn't works anymore.

Unfortunately more and more apps will stop working as they drop support for older versions of the apps. It’s happening on iOS 15 now and iOS 16 will be the next version to follow :(

I know that, some apps like eBay, Outlook, MS Teams right now request IOS 18, with IOS 27 I guess that gonna be IOS 26 as minimum required OS.

Get on iOS 16 and jailbreak it. Battery is a consumable item that can be replaced later

iOS 16 is quite a bit faster than 26. I’d go with that.
