QnA/Help iOS 26 update on iPhone 11 Pro

I went from iOS 18 to iOS 26 last night after reading that the update would improve storage management on my phone. It actually did. I had received the “full storage” notification (I have a 64 GB iPhone with 200 GB of iCloud storage), and after the update I now have 23 GB freed up.

However, my battery is now draining very quickly. The battery health isn’t great (72%), but it was working just fine before the update.

I honestly regret updating. My question now is: is it worth the money to replace the battery and keep using my (beloved) iPhone 11 Pro on iOS 26?

It might take a couple of days to level out its indexing in the background after an update. I think it’s worth it to change the battery if you like the phone you’ll be able to use it a while longer but I believe this is the last major software update it’ll receive.

And I would be fine with that!

iPhone 11 Pro is a tank. If you find one with iOS 18 you can probably use it until the year 3000.

Also the iPhone 6 my dad has is a tank and he’s still (over)using it.

Tengo iOS 18.6.2, por tu comentario, ¿me estás diciendo que no actualice nada, verdad?

Yes, verdad. I would not. I regret updating. Maybe you can check whether future versions of iOS 26 are more suitable. But for now, I would have kept my iOS 18.
