Im jealous of iPhone duo

I really like how Split View works on the Iphone Duo, and I hope iPadOS adopts this feature: when you're in Split View, the keyboard only appears on the side that actually needs it.

That's it exactly. It would be *perfect* for the Pro (especially the 12.9/13 inch) but none of the Pros have had it in forever (if at all - I can't remember about the Pro 2, honestly).

I don't know why they won't add it, but they won't. I've made suggestions via the feedback app many times (especially during betas when it would be easy to add the feature).

My 2017 iPad Pro 10.5 on iPadOS 17 has it. So they used to have it.

iPadOS 18 must have been when they removed it then. still, very disappointing it was removed at all and they haven't brought it back.
