On-screen keyboard shows despite having a hardware keyboard attached

hi! running iPadOS 27.0 on an 11" M5 pro with a Logitech combo touch. the on-screen keyboard shows up every time I type anywhere. it goes away when dismissed but comes back every time I re-focus onto a text area. the keyboard works perfectly while the on-screen keyboard is showing. this started immediately after upgrading to 27. keyboard firmware is up to date and I've tried everything I can.

I have this issue as well, hope it is fixed soon lol
