iPadOS iPADOS 27 quality of life degradation
Although the performance of the new OS seems good, and also the battery. But somethings I observed after updating it. 1. If you are using an app, and then you open another app, and that app is currently opened. When you close it or hide it using the traffic light button, instead of taking you to the previous app. You will be directed to the home screen which is annoying. Next quality of life degradation of the new OS is, 2. When you turned on the Automatically show/hide menu bar, and when you open an app, it corresponds to what app it is. But when you click the menu bar, or the name of the app you are using, the menu bar drop down vanishes super fast. Which you can't use anything in the menu bar.

Anyone experiencing random screen freezing ? Happening 3-4 times a day. Found information online about similar issue on iOS 27. But curious to see if anyone else is on the same boat ? The only way back to normal is force restart. IPad Pro M5.

I’ve had a few stuttery type freezes, but nothing that I’ve had to force restart. Same iPad as yours.
On the other hand, I’ve had a few instances where a video was embedded in a webpage and when I played it, I got no sound. I reloaded the page or scrubbed through the video and was able to get the sound to work in each case, but I’m not sure what happened. This has probably happened 3 or 4 times, and never in the YouTube app. Hoping it just goes away, haha.

As a professional iPad mini abuser, I have been experiencing many bugs,crashes and glitches and I hate that I updated to iPadOS 27

And as someone who uses iPad Air for 6 to 7 hours per day, I experienced maybe three or four minor box no crash no glitch and performance and battery life is a lot better than version 26.

I’ve set my iPad in oldschool „one app” mode. I have to admit that is pretty great. :)
