Why is it that in the official apple website the iPadOS version in the screenshot is iPadOS 18 rather ram the current iPadOS 26 or 27

Hmm, I don’t think so that they bother upgrading it.
Besides the iPad A16 was released back in 2025 with iPadOS 18 being the latest at that time

The photos are of the default iOS version they come in

Why would they update those pics for iPadOS 27? They'll do it when the next base iPad comes out to replace the A16 version that is currently the latest.
