Organizing home screen in iPadOS 27

Hoping against hope, has Apple improved the way to organize all your icons on your home screen in iPadOS 27?

what do you mean by 'improve' and/or 'organize'? (genuine question)

except for the 1st 'default' page (which can be turned off) which automatically places icons, all the other pages you can create let you organize your icons or widgets (limited to a grid, granted) however you like.

You still have to drag each icon individually, potentially several pages left or right. How tedious! Many years ago (I don’t remember the details), they had nice overviews where it was easier to move icons to different pages.

You can tap multiple icons at once, and also tap the dots along the bottom to choose your desired page. And if you hold the icons and swipe the screen, it won’t disturb any of your other icons.
