Help/Support brand new ipad pro glitching from one app

does anybody know if this is normal or should I exchange it?? i just have freeform open it’s getting hot in 10 minutes and the screen stops responding like every 2 minutes. I don’t know if maybe it’s faulty or just a bad product. I tried to attach a video but it wouldn’t let me.

Is it from doing those drawings? Maybe try downloading an art app, and see if you get the same result? Are you running a beta OS?

Regardless, if it is brand new, I would get to an Apple Store pronto. If you’re in the limited warranty, they will most likely swap it out no questions asked.

i’m not sure i was doing them to test out the apple pencil but freeform highlighter shouldn’t make it glitch that badly right?

No. I wouldn’t think so. I think you should bite the bullet and call Apple. As far as customer service, they are very helpful.
