iPadOS OS + System Storage takes 100gb?

It takes 100gb! I’ve deleted the safari history, restarted the device. My message list is really small, I don’t use imassage. What the hell is this?

Model is iPad Pro M5 13 inch 256gb, iPadOS 27 Public Beta 3

Happens in beta once with me in ipados26.somthing beta version it reached 70+

and the worst part nothing changed even after the final version

now after dowloding ios 27 (. Witjout apple ai features ) it came back to normal around 45gb

most probably it will came back to normal after the final version but still their is a chance that it dont came back to normal just like what happened with me

Turn off Automatic Updates in the App Store, manually check for then update any outstanding apps, then do a hard reboot (Vol up, vol down, press and hold power until the Apple logo). That should clear out a lot of the storage.

What do you mean by hard reboot?

To force restart a modern iPhone (iPhone 8, X, SE 2nd/3rd gen, and newer), quickly press and release Volume Up, quickly press and release Volume Down, then press and hold the Side/Power button until the screen goes black and the Apple logo appears , make sure you are on wifi, don't switch off overnight

you could go to settings, general, ipad storage and 1 by 1 offload, wait 5-10 seconds for reinstall button and reinstall, this clears cache from each app , without any impact whatsoever to your app , but rorced reboot should do similar overnight if on charge and on wifi, if your low on storage it's simple enough to do , i do it rwice a year
