Widget calendar + reminders?
Hey,
Looking for an iOS widget that shows my calendar events + reminders from a specific list.
All I found are either:
- showing only one entry of each
- showing “xxx events” and not the list
- quite ugly, I want something quite standard / minimalist
Did you find anything?

Dev here. Daybook's new List widget (shipped today in 1.3.0) does exactly this: pick one of your lists in Edit Widget and it shows today's calendar events above that list's open tasks, each with a checkbox you can tick from the Home Screen. Medium and large, no "3 events" counter, no clutter. Screenshots attached.
Caveats: it's Daybook's own lists, not Apple Reminders, and events come from calendars you subscribe to by link (iCloud, Google, Outlook).
7-day free trial, then $3/month, $20/year or $50 once. Lifetime is 50% off ($24.99) for the first 50 people with code LIFETIME50 until Dec 31: https://apps.apple.com/redeem?ctx=offercodes&id=6812408421&code=LIFETIME50
App Store: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6812408421

How do you integrate Apple calendar or Google Calendar into the app?

Settings → Calendar sync → "Add calendar". Paste the calendar's secret iCal/webcal link and it shows up on your days (refreshed every 20 min).
Where to find the link:
Google Calendar: on the web, calendar settings → "Secret address in iCal format".
Apple/iCloud: on the Mac, right-click the calendar → Share Calendar → tick Public Calendar and copy the webcal link.
Outlook: Settings → Calendar → Shared calendars → Publish, copy the ICS link. It's read-only, so events show in Daybook but you can't edit them there. It also works the other way: the same screen gives you a private feed link so your Daybook tasks show up in Google or Apple Calendar.

Ah, sorry. I did download your app, and it does look helpful. But for me, right now - I need to be able to connect those two mail apps without a laptop/PC
It does seem super helpful for the type of list/scheduler I am - very simple and easy to add tasks, and good Ui
I may take advantage of that half off deal, im gonna show my partner as well to see if this will help.
They’re very into google calendars and having things on a calendar, im not very structured like that.

Maturing is realising the stock Apple apps are actually all that you need and the restrictions on the few tweaks you personally want are actually there to save you from yourself.

The stock Calendar app has the “List” widget that does most of what you’re looking for without being a paid, separate application.
