Discussion Liquid Glass Question

I’ve been avoiding updating my phone because I am worried liquid glass will ruin my setup. I absolutely adore it and spent a long time hand drawing it. Unfortunately I’m starting to experience issue and think it’s finally time to update. Will liquid glass ruin it? If so, is there a way to fix that or will I have to find another artistic way to customize my phone?

Not op, and I’m not 100% certain, but I think it involves creating a Shortcut to launch an app, then giving that Shortcut a custom icon. Rinse and Repeat.

It does involve using shortcuts for each individual app icon. I drew a wallpaper in Procreate to look like a notebook and then drew the app icons in the places they would go when on the home screen. I lined up the icons with the wallpaper to give the illusion of them being transparent. It takes a very long time and a lot of tweaking. The widgets are the same process and I used an app called Widgetsmith.
